Timeframe: Determines the chart period (e.g., 1m, 5m, 1h, etc.) on which your main strategy will run.
Display Timezone: Sets the local timezone for the timestamps of the generated alerts, allowing you to track signals according to your own clock.
RSI Level: Defines the threshold value (e.g., 70, 30) to be used for the RSI filter strategy, typically to identify overbought or oversold conditions.
Scan Interval: Specifies how often, in seconds, the program will rescan the entire market to search for new signals.
Overview: We begin our analysis with "General Settings." With Timeframe, we can select the main time period for our strategy, from 1-minute instant movements to 1-day main trends. Thanks to Display Timezone, you can see alarms instantly in your own time, no matter where you are in the world. RSI Level sets the overbought or oversold threshold for our strategy. Scan Interval allows you to control the sensitivity of your strategy by adjusting how often the market is scanned.
1. Volume Filter
Active: Includes or excludes the volume filter from the strategy.
Volume Multiplier: Determines the factor by which a coin's volume in the last candle must exceed its average volume to trigger a signal. This is a critical setting for detecting "Smart Money" or whale activity.
Candle Color Confirm: When activated, it requires the candle on which the volume spike occurred to be directionally aligned with the strategy (e.g., a strong bullish candle like a Marubozu for an uptrend, or a bearish candle for a downtrend), thus filtering out volume traps.
Overview: The Volume Filter allows us to track the "Smart Money" in the market. For example, entering '15' in the 'Volume Multiplier' box means we want to instantly find any coin on the 1-minute chart that shows an unusual buying volume exceeding 15 times its average volume. 'Candle Color Confirm' allows us to confirm whether this burst is a false signal or a real buying/selling wave where momentum has started.
2. RSI (Relative Strength Index)
RSI Active: Includes the RSI filter in the strategy.
Above: Searches for coins in an overbought condition, where the RSI is above the specified level.
Below: Searches for coins in an oversold condition, where the RSI is below the specified level, indicating a potential "bottom" reversal opportunity.
Overview: With RSI, we measure market psychology. With the "Below" option, we can search for potential "dip" opportunities in oversold areas, and with "Above," we can look for potential tops or short position opportunities in overbought areas.
3. EMA (Exponential Moving Average)
EMA Active: Includes the EMA filter in the strategy.
Crossing Up: Detects the famous "Golden Cross" moment when the short-term EMA crosses above the long-term EMA, a classic bullish trend initiation signal.
Crossing Down: Detects the "Death Cross" moment when the short-term EMA crosses below the long-term EMA, a classic bearish trend initiation signal.
Above: Confirms a strong "uptrend" by filtering for coins where the price remains above the EMAs. Ideal for finding buying opportunities on pullbacks.
Below: Confirms a strong "downtrend" by filtering for coins where the price remains below the EMAs, providing confirmation for short positions.
4. Fisher Transform
Fisher Active: Includes the Fisher Transform filter in the strategy.
Crossing Up: Captures the moment the Fisher line crosses above its signal line, indicating an early buy signal as momentum turns positive.
Crossing Down: Captures the moment the Fisher line crosses below its signal line, indicating an early sell signal as momentum turns negative.
Above: Confirms that positive momentum is sustained and the uptrend remains strong by checking if the Fisher is above its signal line.
Below: Confirms that negative momentum is sustained and the downtrend remains strong by checking if the Fisher is below its signal line.
1. MTF EMA Confirmation
None: Specifies that you do not require MTF confirmation for the EMA indicator.
Above/Below: Requires the EMA to also be in a specific trend direction (uptrend/downtrend) on the selected higher timeframes for the main strategy signal to be valid.
Rising/Falling: Requires the EMA's momentum to be directed upwards or downwards on the selected higher timeframes.
% ATR Threshold: A sensitivity setting for the "Rising" or "Falling" options. It filters out meaningless micro-fluctuations in a sideways market and only considers significant momentum by requiring the change to be greater than a certain percentage of the average volatility (ATR).
2. MTF Fisher Confirmation
None: Specifies that you do not require MTF confirmation for the Fisher indicator.
Above/Below: Requires the Fisher Transform to be in the positive or negative zone on the selected higher timeframes for the main strategy signal to be valid.
Rising/Falling: Requires the Fisher's momentum to be directed upwards or downwards on the selected higher timeframes.
% ATR Threshold: A sensitivity setting for the "Rising" or "Falling" options. It is used to ensure that the change in the Fisher Transform indicates significant momentum.
Overview: This section is the most powerful feature that sets Coin Scanner apart from other tools. MTF confirms the signals you find on smaller timeframes with the main trends on larger timeframes. This way, you confirm not only the direction of the trend but also whether that trend has significant strength, or momentum. This protects you from one of the costliest mistakes: trading against the main trend.
Trade Management: This section includes features such as Auto-Trade, Leverage, Trade Size, and Trailing Stop, which allow for the automatic execution of trades based on the alerts. This is an area I use for my own automated trading.
Start/Stop Scanning: Manually starts and stops the scanning process.
Cycle: This counter shows how many times the program has scanned the entire market. The program will run indefinitely until you stop it. During live streams, to analyze viewer requests without getting stuck on a single scan, I typically apply a limit of 3 or 5 cycles for that specific request.
Alerts Table: This table is dynamic. When a coin meets all of your specified criteria (Volume, RSI, EMA, Fisher, and all MTFs) simultaneously, it is listed as an alert with a green checkmark (✅) in all corresponding columns. The program continues to monitor. If in subsequent cycles, even a single one of those criteria is no longer met for the coin, the green checkmark in that specific column will instantly turn into a red 'X' mark (❌). This means the program not only gives you an entry signal but also provides a potential exit or position re-evaluation signal when conditions change.
